Our goal is to prepare students for life after Lake Worth High. Programs have been developed to offer students an opportunity to choose from a variety of course offerings and gain practical experiences in their chosen program. The relationships that Lake Worth Community High School has established with the business community have helped improve school programs and offer students enhanced opportunities for scholarships, internships and employment following graduation. The business partners serve on advisory committees, donate time, goods and resources to many of our programs and activities.There is a culture of discipline and respect that is the model for behavior at Lake Worth Community High School. Over 1000 choice programs’ students have created a diverse school community and made a positive contribution to our school. Students from Boca Raton to 45th Street in West Palm Beach and westward to Wellington, Loxahatchee and Royal Palm Beach are a part of the Lake Worth high school tradition. Our central coastal location allows easy accessibility via I-95, U.S. 1 (Dixie Highway) and the Tri-Rail station which is located on the west side of our campus.
Among the Alumni of Lake Worth Community High School are NBA star Otis Thorpe, television star, Diedra Hall and Major League baseball players Dick and Larry Brown, Herb Score and Andy Hansen. Our Alumni Association enables us to contact our alumni and encourages them to reunite with classmates and their Alma Mater.
